It can be either a separate locality (e.g. Celestynów) or a part of another locality, morphologically it is most often a complex of (summer) houses (Chylice, Skolimów), but also a typical (based on the interpretation of the topographic map drawing) non-urban built-up area (Choszczówka).Included as a kind of locality in Bystrzycki's register as explanatory abbreviation ("letn."). All summer resorts in Bystrzycki's register are located near Warsaw. Exception: Wisła, Zełmianka (Stryj district).Included on topographic maps as a part of a place name annotation ("letn."), but not in symbology keys (legends). On the MGI maps, summer resort is one of the types of localities. In DBTO10k as "summer house" (pol "dom letniskowy") in the feature class of single-family residential buildings (BUBD01).
